PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The pendant features six hand-blown Murano glass elements in a delicate drop shape, transparent and 15 cm in height. The choice of this elegant form, combined with the unique glass craftsmanship, allows the light to flow naturally, creating soft reflections that enhance the surrounding atmosphere. The canopy, made of metal with a rose gold galvanic finish, completes the design, adding a touch of refinement to the piece. The 3000K LED lighting emits a warm and pleasant glow, ideal for creating a relaxing and welcoming ambiance in the bedrooms.
CONTEXT
The client, a Murano glass enthusiast, requested a lighting project that would reinterpret this traditional material in a contemporary way, with a unique design that would perfectly complement her interiors. The goal was to preserve the elegance and refinement of Murano glass while embracing a modern vision that met the functional and aesthetic needs of the home. The project began with the development of custom wall sconces, tailored for various rooms throughout the residence. Later, the same concept was applied to the design of pendant lights, created for the bedside areas in both the master bedroom and the guest room, maintaining the same contemporary and sophisticated approach.

A key aspect in the design of the pendant lights was the study of the shape and craftsmanship of the Murano glass, aimed at achieving light that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Each pendant was designed to optimize light diffusion, ensuring adequate illumination for the space without compromising the visual effect. The use of irregular and conical glass shapes in the first pendant and the drop shape in the second, combined with meticulous planning of the glass placement, allowed for a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. The light diffuses softly throughout the space, creating reflections and shadows that enhance the room’s atmosphere, without being too intense or harsh.
