PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The chandelier in the Green Living Room of Villa Mostaccini is a perfect example of how tradition can be reinterpreted with a contemporary vision—honoring the historical roots of the villa while giving each space a renewed sense of vitality.
Inspired by the original chandelier, which the previous owners had preserved intact, architect Micol Maiga embarked on a journey of research and innovation, remaining faithful to the original piece’s intrinsic beauty while introducing more modern and sophisticated design elements.

CONTEXT
Every element of the chandelier was carefully studied to create a form that not only honored the history of the building but also enhanced the dimensions and proportions of the Green Living Room. The search for the perfect design required a custom-made creation, allowing the chandelier to fit gracefully within the room, bringing light and atmosphere without ever overpowering the space.
PROJECT PHASES
The work developed through several phases, ensuring a careful and targeted design process.

Lighting Solutions
Every element of the chandelier was carefully studied to create a form that not only respected the building’s history but also enhanced the dimensions and proportions of the Green Living Room. The search for the perfect design required a bespoke creation, so the chandelier could gracefully adapt to the room, offering light and atmosphere without ever overwhelming the space.
Asimmetrie Vincenti is not just a chandelier, but a play of forms that balance each other in a dynamic and harmonious way, bringing new vitality to the Green Living Room. Its asymmetrical structure and choice of materials make the piece not only a source of light but a true work of art that enriches the villa, perfectly embodying the dialogue between tradition and innovation.
