Private Terrace in Rome

The lighting of this terrace in Rome was designed to create an elegant and functional environment, enhancing every element of the space through a careful distribution of light sources. The goal was to balance direct and indirect light to ensure visual comfort and a refined atmosphere.

Along the planters, grazing spotlights highlight the vegetation, creating light and shadow effects that give the area depth and dynamism. The low lighting at the base of the plants not only enhances the greenery, but also helps to discreetly define the space without being intrusive.

The vertical luminous structures add a distinctive scenic element: beams of light cut through the background, emphasizing the contrast between architecture and vegetation. These elements serve not only a decorative function but also a practical one, helping to define the different areas of the terrace.

Under the gazebo, a soft, diffused light ensures the right level of illumination for social activities, avoiding glare and creating an intimate and welcoming area.

The central light source provides uniform illumination, while decorative elements such as table lamps and candelabras add touches of warmth and intimacy.

The entire lighting design project was developed to transform the terrace into a space that is enjoyable and usable at any time of the evening, maintaining a perfect balance between aesthetics, functionality, and integration with the architectural and natural context.
