Fairy: a custom-designed lighting element
At the heart of the project is Fairy, a spike light specifically designed and produced for this event as a custom element, capable of interpreting and amplifying the Christmas atmosphere of the residence.
For the installation, 150 slender stems were produced in three different heights, carefully designed to create a natural and never-uniform visual rhythm.
Each stem is topped with a small glass element featuring a gold finish, chosen to harmonize with the warm tones of the existing Christmas decorations and with the elegance of the architecture.
The Fairy lights were installed in the large green flowerbed surrounding the villa’s entrance, an area already characterized by the presence of two large golden deer, part of the home’s Christmas display.
In this context, Fairy does not overlap with existing elements but enriches them, adding depth, movement, and a new interpretation of the space.
A distinctive feature of this lamp is the presence of elastic springs at the base of each stem, allowing the lights to gently sway with the wind.
This subtle movement transforms light into a living, dynamic element, capable of continuously changing the perception of the garden.
The result is a suggestive and poetic effect: a constellation of small moving lights that seem to animate the landscape like tiny fairies, making the nighttime experience even more magical and immersive.
Fairy thus becomes not just a lamp, but a true scenic lighting element, designed to move, accompany, and make the villa’s entrance unforgettable during the event.
The intervention enhances the garden without altering its balance, transforming it into a scenic yet measured space, where light accompanies the architecture with discretion and control.
The result is a suspended and elegant atmosphere, perfectly coherent with the identity of the villa and the exclusive nature of the event.
This project demonstrates how bespoke lighting design can dialogue with an existing setup, amplifying its charm without overpowering it. Light thus becomes a true language: capable of telling the story of a place, interpreting a moment, and transforming it into a unique and unrepeatable experience.
